Mavericks 4-H state results
MAVERICKS –The McCall Mavericks 4-H Team representing Valley County 4-H competed in the State Championship competition in Rigby, Idaho on July 8 and 9, competing in three events. The team placed second overall in horse judging and horse bowl and fifth in hippology. Scarlett Keese placed first in the individual horse judging event. In Horse bowl, Evie Wilifinger was second with Kaiti Vance third and Scarlett Keese fifth. In hippology, Wilifinger was second with Keese in third. One of two Libby residents facing charges after allegedly breaking into the county animal shelter and stealing a dog was arraigned on the charge Monday in Lincoln County District Court.Ronald Edward Ringsbye, 59, pleaded not guilty to one felony count of burglary.Ringsbye was being held in the Lincoln County Detention Center on $25,000 bail, but his attorney S. Charles Sprinkle sought his release on his own recognizance.
