Dennis Lee Cripps, age 68, of Gladwin, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born on November 7, 1955, the son of Leo and Rhoda Cripps. Dennis worked as a tool and die maker until his retirement. He enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, bird watching, and exploring the country. Dennis also loved writing, playing card games, and Words with Friends. He had a passion for trivia and enjoyed watching TV comedies and mysteries, especially Seinfeld and The Twilight Zone.

ESSEXVILLE, MI — Prosecutors have declined to charge a former Essexville teacher alleged to have had an inappropriate relationship with a student. Essexville officials confirmed July 11 Bay County Prosecutor Nancy E. Borushko had relayed to them her decision not to issue criminal charges.
