MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Former Central Michigan pitcher Adam Mrakitsch has signed a free agent contract with the Texas Rangers. Mrakitsch, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound left-hander, was not selected during Major League Baseball's annual draft, which concluded on Tuesday. He signed with the Rangers on Wednesday and is set to report soon to the team's training facility in Surprise, Ariz.
