Hopkins County Jail Bookings

On Tuesday, 37-year-old Manuel Anthony Zamora of Mt Vernon turned himself in at the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office on two outstanding third-degree felony warrants. He’s charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family and Violation of a Court order by Stalking. His bonds total $150,000.

Cumby Police arrested 23-year-old Oscar Armando Garcia Villeda and 35-year-old Josue Maycon on I-30 for several traffic violations. Subsequent investigation led to the officer locating suspected cocaine. They also had possession of three handguns. Officers charged them with possession of between one and four grams of Cocaine, Felon in Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Tampering With Evidence with the Intent to Impair an Investigation.
