The job fair is being conducted in partnership with the West Kentucky Workforce Board.

“We’re building America’s EV battery materials infrastructure, which is a big deal for national security and energy independence,” plant manager Mark Fern said in the release. “We are seeking experienced professionals and men and women transitioning from the military as well as high school graduates and anyone looking to launch a career in the EV battery materials industry.”

Individuals should bring their resumes to the job fair. A list of the jobs is available online.

The Ascend site, called Apex 1, is in Commerce Park II on John Rivers Road. The company plans to employ up to 400 people.
