NorthBridge Secures $28M to Acquire Boston-Area Industrial Portfolio
JLL Capital Markets recently secured $27.8 million in financing for a four-building industrial portfolio totaling more than 300,000 square feet across the Greater Boston MSA. A team led by managing director Andrew Gray and director Ryan Parker represented NorthBridge Partners and arranged non-recourse acquisition financing through Bristol County Savings Bank.
Upton Invites Community to Send-Off for Retiring Police Chief Michael Bradley

Bradley announced last month he would be leaving after 30 years with the Town to take on the role of Executive Director for the Massachusetts Chief of Police Association. His last official day is August 16 and on that day the Town is inviting the community to attend a reception in his honor at the Community Center. It will be held from Noon-2pm that day. Milford Teen Facing Charges for Loaded Gun in Shrewsbury Traffic Stop
By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A Milford teen is facing charges after he was allegedly found with a loaded gun in a car in Shrewsbury. It happened July 14 when a Shrewsbury officer pulled the car over on Route 9. The officer says there were six people in the car and when it stopped two of them ran. But the officer spotted one guy trying to conceal a bag under the seat. A search of the bag allegedly turned up a loaded 9mm handgun. 18-year-old Nicolas Alves-Santos reportedly faces possession of a firearm without a license and several more counts.

Karen Read murder case: Judge sets 2025 date for retrial
A Massachusetts judge has scheduled the retrial in Karen Read's murder case for early next year, three weeks after declaring a mistrial in the high-profile case. Read was accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, in January 2022. Prosecutors allege she hit O'Keefe with her car and left him to die in the middle of a snowstorm after the two got into an argument earlier in the day. Judge Beverly Cannone declared a mistrial in the case on July 1 after the jury said it was unable to reach a unanimous consensus on the fifth day of deliberations. The Norfolk District Attorney's Office said following the mistrial that it planned to retry the case. During a status hearing on Monday, Cannone proposed Jan. 14, 2025, for a pretrial conference and Jan. 27, 2025, as the new trial date.
