Dam B will be releasing water due to heavy rainfall
JASPER, Texas — People living below the BA Steinhagen Reservoir, also known as Dam B, are being notified that the flood gates will be opening. Jasper County Commissioner Precinct 1 Seth Martindale says that the flood gates will be opened to release around 22,000 to 23,000 CFS of water with the gates open to 25 feet due to heavy rainfall upstream.
