    Hornell man arrested for alleged theft, $50K in stolen property

    CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A Hornell man has been arrested after an incident of theft in the Town of Corning.

    According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, Richard O. Snyder, 23, was arrested on the charge of grand larceny in the second degree, a class C felony, after he allegedly stole heavy construction equipment worth over $50,000 from the town.

    As a result, Snyder had his charges read to him in Centralized Arraignment Court and was released.
