NYCBL Playoffs set for Hitmen and Hornell

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The NYCBL Playoffs are now set for regional teams.

The Hornell Steamers, winners of their last 15 games in a row, will host the NYCBL West Semis after winning the regular season division title. Hornell, the top seed, receives a bye into the semis and will play the winner of (5) Salamanca or (4) Olean at home Tuesday night at 7 PM. Salamanca and Olean square off Monday night in Olean at 7 PM.

The Horseheads Hitmen are seeded sixth and head to third seed Dansville Monday at 4:30 pm. Opening round and the semis are one-game playoffs. The West Division Championship will be a best-of-three series starting on Wednesday.
