Popular Scio restaurant closes doors. Why Mike's On the Corner owners are stepping aside.
Mike's On the Corner, a popular restaurant on Scio's Main Street, announced Monday that it has served up its last meal. In a statement, owners Jody and Chris Torrey cited non-life-threatening health issues for the restaurant's closure. The Torreys have been attempting to sell Mike's On the Corner since the beginning of 2024, and the couple no longer wishes to operate the restaurant while awaiting a sale. It is currently listed for $209,900.
