Alleged arson and DWI lead to charges for Purdin resident
A Purdin man has been charged with two felonies following an alleged attempt to set fire to a house in Chillicothe on August 22. According to online court records, Johnny Lee Collis, 32, faces charges of attempted first-degree arson and driving while intoxicated as an aggravated offender. No bond has been set for his release.

Scott wasn't able to build on his three-hit effort from Thursday, but he stole a base for the second game in a row. Speed is his biggest positive, though he's posted a .183 on-base percentage through 115 plate appearances in the majors this year, which is a big reason why he's been limited to four steals. He's been a bit better since his Aug. 4 call-up, slashing .208/.240/.333 over 15 games since he returned to the majors.
