Home destroyed by fire in Loris, HCFR says
HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A home in Horry County was destroyed by a fire Wednesday afternoon, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. Crews responded to the fire call at 5 p.m. on the 1000 block of Log Cabin Road in Loris. They were able to contain the fire just before 6 p.m.

Conway man sentenced for 2022 attack, shooting of fellow CCU student
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — On Tuesday, a Conway man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for an assault and burglary that took place in an Horry County apartment in 2022. Reginald Francis Neville, 23, pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, said Assistant Solicitor Jim Stanko, who prosecuted the case for the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
