OLEAN, NY — The only lead in the game that matters is the last one.

The Oilers entered the bottom of the ninth with a three-run deficit and a stadium that saw 80% of its fans leave before the Oilers' first batter in the inning saw a pitch. The Oilers seemed unfazed by the fans leaving and scored four runs in the 10-9 walk-off win.

After the Hitmen scored three runs in the second inning, the Oilers responded with two of their own. The pattern would continue for the rest of the game as the Oilers managed to cut the lead to one run on three different occasions in the game.

The winning run came when first baseman Chase Fischer scored from third after a wild pitch by Nick Arnett of the Hitmen. The winning run was the first and only time that the Oilers had a lead in the game.

Relief pitcher Drew Norton pitched the final four innings of the game, allowing two runs and earning the win, his second of the season.

Fischer not only scored the winning run, he also added three RBIs off two hits, which included his first triple of the season.
