Officials say it’s near 290,000 acres in size, with a perimeter of 169 miles. However, crews have made progress, and said it is nearly 30% contained.

Kuna man arrested on explosives charges
BOISE, Idaho — A Kuna man has been arrested on a series of charges for having "explosive materials," said Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO). On July 24, Kuna Police were dispatched to a house near E. 4th Street and Orchard Avenue in Kuna for a report of suspicious activity. They began investigating, and found possible explosive devices and man suspicious chemicals were located in the garage of the home, ACSO said.
