    Hot Springs police investigating Thursday evening shooting

    HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Detectives with the Hot Springs Police Department are investigating a shooting that left one injured Thursday evening.

    Officials said that the incident happened at 5:40 p.m. when officers responded to a shots fired call in the 500 block of Crescent Avenue.

    Man killed in Hot Springs shooting Sunday morning

    Officers said that when they arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was eventually taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.

    During the investigation, officers discovered that the man had parked his RV on the property of 32-year-old William Deshawn Green, who they said eventually asked him to remove it from the land.

    As the two were arguing, police said the man produced a BB gun and Green pulled out a handgun and shot him.

    This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the HSPD at 501-321-6789.
