Why are white people so obsessed with the word “woke” and the idea of not being a sheep to the status quo? First of all it’s completely over used! It started off as something positive to show that you are a free thinker and can see beyond what is presented to you! You know as in using your mind to see things in their true form as opposed to what’s told to you! But white people once again have taken something and twisted it into something that they can be in a racist uproar against! They have made it mean something far from its original intent!
