According to the Houma Police Department, officers responded to the shooting at 1301 Barataria Ave. around 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, it was discovered that the suspects had exchanged numerous gunshots with each other.
One man, 27-year-old Dontrelle Robertson, has been arrested and was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex where he has since been charged with an additional count of attempted second-degree murder.
The four new suspects are 32-year-old Akeem Ross, 24-year-old Sebastian Beck, 32-year-old Adrian Williams, and 34-year-old Devon Randell. All of them are wanted on three counts of attempted second degree murder and one count of felony illegal use of a weapon.
Three people were shot during the incident. A 49-year-old man was struck in the leg by a stray bullet while outside of the Courtyard Marriott, a 26-year-old man arrived at a hospital with several gunshot wounds and a 24-year-old man showed up at a hospital on the following day with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The wounds are considered non-life-threatening and the three victims are expected to recover.
