Mountain Grove man seriously injured in crash, patrol says

A Mountain Grove man was involved in a one-vehicle accident early Friday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Gregory C. Oliphant, 45, was driving a 2005 Nissan Titan northbound on Highway 95 one mile south of Manes when he crossed the centerline, ran off the left side of the road, impacted a ditch and overturned, returned to the roadway and ran off the right side of the road, patrol said.

Oliphant was taken by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries. The vehicle was totaled.

He was wearing a safety device.

Investigating the accident was Tpr. Zayne B Tate.
