    Mountain View man injured in crash, patrol says

    A Mountain View man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Thursday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

    Billy D. Parsons, 75, was driving a 1996 Kenworth westbound on U.S. 160 three and a half miles east of Rueter when he traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the road and overturned, patrol said.

    Parsons was transported by Taney County ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.

    He was not wearing a safety device. The vehicle had moderate damage.

    Investigating the accident was Cpl. K. C. Morris.
