State Patrol IDs Two Minnesota Men Killed in Separate Crashes
(KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the names of two people killed in separate traffic incidents Tuesday night. One of the victims was a 19-year-old man from the Grand Rapids area. The State Patrol says Carter Haithcock of Goodland was fatally injured around 11:20 PM on Tuesday when he was struck by an SUV while he was walking in the traffic lane on Highway 169 in Nashwauk. The Grand Rapids woman driving the SUV was not hurt.

Overseen by the Blooming Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce, the festivities were projected to bring in approximately 20,000 visitors, expanding the town's occupancy tenfold. Despite a sprinkling of rain, the Old Fashioned Fourth of July parade drew a big crowd Thursday. The multi-day festival also featured a slate of food, games and live entertainment. High waters prompt water rescues in Appleton
APPLETON, Wis. — High waters continue to impact Wisconsin with flash floods occurring throughout the state. Friday's rain left behind dangerously high waters in Appleton. A flash flood warning was issued for the city after 1 to 3 inches of rain fell in a short amount of time. A flooding emergency prompted several water rescues in north Appleton Friday afternoon.
