    Houston Police: Officers handle busy week

    ​​The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

    Between May 27 and June 2, the Houston Police Department answered 225 calls for service and initiated 44 traffic stops resulting in 27 citations and 38 warnings.

    • On May 27, officers arrested Juliann Jensen, 52, of Brumley, on three active warrants. One warrant was from Texas County per charges of burglary and stealing, the second was from Laclede County per charge possession of a controlled substance, and the third warrant was from Miller County per charge larceny. Jensen was transported to the Texas County Jail.
    • On May 28, during a traffic stop for a traffic violation, a 51-year-old male and a 52-year-old female were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
    • On May 28, officers arrested Daniel K. Labbee, 39, of Houston, on a Texas County warrant per charge stealing-4 th offense. Labbee was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated due to the warrant having no bond.
    • On May 28, officers responded to the intersection of First Street and U.S. 63 for a motor vehicle crash. A 2015 Ford F250 operated by Alanson D. Cline III, 43, of Success, struck a 2018 Subaru, operated by Betty A. Adams, 68, of Plato. There were no injuries reported. Cline was cited for following too closely.
    • On May 28, a 46-year-old male was arrested on charges of hindering prosecution, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was transported to the Texas County Jail and a report was sent to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
    • On May 29, officers cited Bryan E. Edgmond, 62, of Houston, for violating a protection order.
    • On May 30, officers issued Carmon R. Jones, 52, of Yukon, three citations for stealing under $750 for three separate thefts from a Houston business in May.
    • On May 31, a 26-year-old male was stopped and found to be operating a vehicle with a revoked driver’s license. A report was forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charges.
    • On June 1, officers responded to the 200 block of S. Grand Avenue for a domestic dispute. The dispute was only verbal and one party chose to leave the residence. No charges were filed.
    • On June 1, officers cited Brittnee K. Glenn, 34, of Houston, for stealing under $500 after she took items from a Houston business.
    • On June 2, officers responded to Emmett Kelly Park for a parking lot motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
