Texans to sign LB Azeez Al-Shaair to three-year deal: reports

Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans is reuniting with veteran linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair in free agency. The two worked together for four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, now they will do so again in Houston.

Al-Shaair agreed to a three-year, $34 million contract with the Texans, multiple media outlets reported Monday. Al-Shaair led the Titans with 163 tackles last season. He will replace Blake Cashman, who is signing with the Minnesota Vikings.

The Texans also signed former Titans defensive end Denico Autry after Jonathan Greenard also agreed to sign with the Vikings. Autry recorded 11.5 sacks for Tennessee last season.
