Ohtani's Interpreter Scandal, Texans Re-Sign Barnett, March Madness Is Here

Mizuhara initially told ESPN that Ohtani knew and covered the debt, but Ohtani's representatives have since disputed that narrative, claiming Ohtani was a victim of theft. Ohtani was in South Korea playing in the season-opening games against the San Diego Padres when the scandal was uncovered.

Edge rusher Derek Barnett was traded to the Houston Texans from the Philadelphia Eagles last season and played in six games totaling 2.5 sacks, 19 tackles and 11 quarterback hits. The Texans have re-signed Barnett to a one-year contract.
