What Trevor Lawrence's contract extension means for C.J. Stroud and the Texans

With the Jacksonville Jaguars agreeing to a five-year, $275 million contract with Trevor Lawrence, it's safe to say they have their quarterback of the present and future.

The deal includes $200 million in guaranteed money and $142 million fully guaranteed at signing, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

This is a quarterback the Texans can expect to face twice each season for a long time. But what is the impact on Houston and its own franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud, who just turned in a historic first season as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year?
