    H-Town Olympian Alaysha Johnson On Paris 2024, Personal Sacrifices, Not Getting Brand Deal and More

    The 2024 Olympics are set to take place in Paris beginning July 26, and Houston will be well represented as several area athletes have secured a place to compete with the most talented athletes from around the world.

    One of those athletes is Alaysha Johnson , who qualified to represent Team USA during the Olympic Track and Field Trials in late June. The hurdlers incredible time (12.31 (12.302), was not only a best, but it shattered Gail Devers ’ 24-year-old meet record and it’s the fastest time in the world this year.

    On and off the track, the 27-year-old Johnson has quite the story, as listeners learned during her recent stop by Good Morning H-Town .

    NBC and Peacock are broadcasting the games. In addition, select cable channels will also broadcast portions of the games, including CNBC, NBCSN, USA and Telemundo. For streaming audiences you can also catch portions of the Olympic events via the following services:  DirecTV Stream, FuboTV, Hulu, Sling TV and YouTube TV will also  some of the Olympic events.

    In 2020, the U.S. brought home an unbelievable 26 track and field medals at the Tokyo Olympics. And next month, Johnson joins the likes of Noah Lyles , Sha’Carri Richardson, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and other track stars.
