If NBA Summer League is any indication, the Houston Rockets' future is in good hands.

Rookie No. 3 overall pick Reed Sheppard shined over the weekend in Las Vegas, putting up 22 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals in a 109-91 win over the Washington Wizards on Sunday. He put up 23 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds in a 99-80 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Cam Whitmore, the Rockets' second-year wing who they drafted No. 20 overall last year, had 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals against the Lakers on Friday and led Houston with 25 points against the Wizards on Sunday.

Orlando Robinson added 22 points and 15 rebounds off the bench for Houston against Washington.
