Community Fundraiser for Danny and Loretta Dupree at Church on the Rock

Church on the Rock will be hosting a community fundraiser for Danny and Loretta Dupree, featuring a performance by The Karl Shiflett Band. The event will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 6 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $10, and love offerings and donations are also welcomed.
The fundraiser aims to support Danny's ongoing transplant journey. Earlier this year, Danny was hospitalized due to congestive heart failure, and his condition has been critical. His defibrillator fired off nine times, further weakening his heart. After intense testing, he has been deemed strong enough to proceed with testing for a heart transplant. The road ahead won't be easy, and the Dupree family is seeking support, love offerings, donations, and prayers as they navigate this challenging time.
Danny currently has three appointments a month, with the frequency expected to increase to three days a week in Houston. Following the transplant surgery, he will need to stay in Houston for three to four months. The family is facing significant travel, lodging, medication, and additional medical expenses during this time.
