C.J. Stroud Expresses Bold Take About Texans Offense

    By Cole Sullivan,

Houston Texans quarterback and leader C.J. Stroud made a bold claim when talking about the Texans offense entering the 2024-25 season.

As he enters year two with the team, he said he sees a “five-headed monster” for his offensive skill positions. That group includes newcomers Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon, then key returners Tank Dell , Nico Collins , and Dalton Shultz.

Mixon, coming over from the Cincinnati Bengals last made the pro bowl in 2021 and has had multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons, making him one of the more effective backs in the NFL over the last five seasons.

Diggs was one of the more shocking additions coming over from the Buffalo Bills , where he was one of the most productive receivers in the NFL and still remains a fringe top-ten wide receiver. Mixing that in with the combination of Dell and Collins makes this offense as dynamic as any in the league.

Houston begins training camp on Thursday; however, Stroud isn’t waiting to express his confidence in his team, and why should he? He was as electric as anybody during his rookie season and is looking to level up alongside his new and returning teammates.
