New Upscale Indoor/Outdoor Southern Soul Lounge Opens on Almeda

MOCA 4212 Lounge held their weekend grand opening with a bang from July 18th-21st with the red carpet being held on Saturday, July 20th from 6-8pm! The indoor/ outdoor concept is located on the historic Almeda Road which is often referred to as the Black Wall Street of Houston due to the amount of successful black-owned businesses located on the street. MOCA 4212 Lounge embodies the vision of its founders who were created by five longtime best friends. The group of friends are well-known businessmen in their industries who have a desire to bring a unique vibe to Houston that can be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. At MOCA 4212 Lounge, guests can expect a fusion of southern Cajun cuisine curated by celebrity Chef Mariah Scott, alongside specialty drinks, a patio where guests can indulge in cigars and hookah, live music, rotating guest DJs, and an indescribable ambiance.

Drawing inspiration from diverse regions of brown and melanated cultures from all over the world, Chef Mariah’s food concept mirrors the ethos of MOCA 4212 Lounge. One can expect a fusion of southern Cajun cuisine with an international twist, showcasing flavors that celebrate rich cultural heritage.
