Cade Stover shares his story about being drafted by the Texans

The Houston Texans are as loaded as any team in the NFL on offense. In fact, so long as you're willing to overlook three-fifths of their offensive line you might say they don't have any weaknesses on this side of the ball. Their quarterback has a ceiling as high as any young passer in the game, their running back room has been upgraded in a big way and their wide receiver room is the best in the AFC.

One underrated element is the tight end unit, which has sneaky-good potential. At the top of the heap is Dalton Schultz, who may be the team's top fantasy sleeper this year. Next up is Brevin Jordan, followed by rookie Cade Stover out of Ohio State .

The first thing to know about Stover is that he's country-as-hell. Apparently when he was drafted he was literally out on the farm. Watch this video the Texans shared on their team account and you'll see.

As the third tight end on the depth chart, Stover is unlikely to see much playing time on offense as a rookie. If he's going to make a real impact in 2024 it may have to be on special teams.
