Texans star QB C.J. Stroud was absolutely fired up for this Cam Akers highlight

With a couple of small exceptions, the Houston Texans did not play their starters in last night's preaseason opener against the Chicago Bears. That doesn't mean we didn't get to see C.J. Stroud at all, though. Stroud kept himself busy on the sidelines and seemed to be as engaged as anyone watching the game.

Early on in the first half, Stroud was seen pacing the sidelines like a lion and cheering his teammates on. Watch.

We believe that in this particular clip Stroud was watching one of the best plays of the night, which was this spin move by running back Cam Akers.

Akers also scored a touchdown later on on a pass from Case Keenum. He finished the evening with 31 yards from scrimmage, the most of any running back on the team.
