Pueblo City Council 'steadfast' in opposing Black Hills Energy rate increases
Pueblo City Council passed a resolution July 22 opposing Black Hills Energy's proposed 18% rate increases. More 'hazardous weather' set to hit Colorado in upcoming days
Mapping from the National Weather Service indicates that more hazardous weather could be coming to parts of Colorado during upcoming days. The forecasting service's mapping shows that hazardous heat may be present in much of the Eastern Plains region from July 28 to July 31. This comes after a brief relief from hazardous temps that were present in the state a week or so ago. Elsewhere in the state, warmer temperatures are expected to return next week, as well. The prediction is on par with the three-month outlook for Colorado that's indicating hotter-than-normal and drier-than-normal months are ahead through October.
