    Troopers, police trying to find driver in local 100-mph chase

    HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN)- The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Howland Police Department are investigating a pursuit that reached 100 miles per hour early Tuesday morning.

    OSHP said troopers tried to pull over a driver for speeding at North River Road NE in Howland around 12:30 a.m.

    Troopers said the driver drove past two stop signs without stopping before reaching a dead end at Summerfield Lane NE. Troopers said the driver then abandoned the vehicle.

    According to OSHP, they made contact with the owner of the vehicle, but they are still investigating and trying to find out who was driving the car.
