Kansas Braces for Severe Storms: 70+ MPH Winds and Hail Expected Tonight
Wichita, KS – Central Kansas is on alert as severe storms are expected to develop this evening, with the National Weather Service in Wichita issuing warnings for the region. The storms, expected to begin around 5 p.m. and continue until midnight, could bring winds exceeding 70 mph, half-dollar-sized hail, and locally heavy rainfall.

Kansas Highway Patrol inspects school buses to prep for first day of school
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas Highway Patrol troopers were inspecting school buses Tuesday to prepare for the first day of school.
