Trial postponed in wreck that killed 3 girls
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The trial is delayed for a woman charged in a wreck that killed three young girls. Jury selection was to get underway July 8, 2024 in proceedings for Amber Peery. However, Shawnee Co. District Court records show it’s now pushed back to August 12th. An entry states the trial was continued “for good cause.” It is set to last five days.

An Emporia man faces possible drug distribution charges in Osage County after an alleged domestic disturbance in Melvern.
