Baseball `Round the Clock` returns to the NBC World Series
WICHITA, Kansas – Baseball ‘Round The Clock, once a staple of the NBC World Series in Wichita, is returning to the NBC in 2024 after an eight-year hiatus. Fans will have the opportunity to watch 11 games over the course of 33 hours, starting at noon on Saturday, July 27 and running through a 6:00pm game on Sunday, July 28.
Colorado couple killed in Kansas plane crash were beloved figures of the aviation community
SHERIDAN COUNTY, Kan. (KKTV) - An elderly couple from Colorado was killed after their plane went down in a field in Kansas last week. According to the Sheridan County, Kansas, sheriff’s department, David Allen, 78, and Jeanne Allen, 79, were flying southbound in their vintage biplane on the evening of June 30 when they crashed. The wreck site was located in the rural northwestern corner of the state, 10 miles north of the town of Hoxie. Despite numerous agencies responding to the scene, the couple died at or shortly after impact and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Bee Jays Hold Off Foxes for 13th Straight Win
The Liberal Bee Jays had won 13 in a row after building leads of 6-1 and 8-3 before holding on to beat the Fort Collins Foxes 9-5 Saturday night at Brent Gould Field.
