Most Shawnee County aquatic centers and pools to close for swimming after this weekend
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Most Shawnee County Parks + Recreation aquatic centers and pools will close to swimming after this coming weekend, officials said Monday morning. Meanwhile, the newest Parks + Receation pool -- which remains under construction in the in the Oakland neighborhood of northeast Topeka -- could open for a few weeks later this summer.
