Alyssa Wheeler killed in Hubbard County 2-vehicle accident
HUBBARD, MN, (June 20, 2024) - A Longville girl lost her life on Thursday in a collision between her vehicle and a pickup truck in Hubbard County. According to public information trooper Jill Frankfurth of the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2015 Ford F-150 pickup was traveling east on Highway 34, approaching Eagle Bend Road. Just after 10 a.m., the vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze.
MN 17-year-old dies following head-on collision
HUBBARD COUNTY, MN — A 17-year-old girl was killed in a head-on crash in Hubbard County, Minnesota. The State Patrol says 17-year-old, Alyssa Wheeler of Longville died after another driver crossed into her lane of traffic on Highway 34 and struck her vehicle head-on. The other driver, 50-year-old Don Sherman of Akeley was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
