Glen Arbor Art Fair returns July 17
The Glen Lake Woman’s Club holds their 52nd annual Art Fair on Wednesday, July 17, from 10 am-4 pm. The Art Fair features artists carefully selected to represent a wide variety of one-of-a-kind art pieces for sale at the Glen Arbor Township Hall. The Art Fair highlights artists in many mediums including pottery, painting, textiles, woodworking, and jewelry. Each year, thousands of people shop for that unique piece of art, either for themselves or for a special gift.

Categories for makers include fiber, glass, graphics, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, and wood. Man who threatened to kill Michigan election worker gets prison sentence
DETROIT - An Indiana man will spend 14 months in prison for sending a death threat to a Michigan election worker in November 2020. Andrew Nickels, 38 from Carmel, was sentenced July 9 in federal district court. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Nickels called the clerk of a Michigan municipality on Nov. 10, 2020 and left a voicemail threatening to kill the official.
