We are going to look at humidity by way of looking at the dew point temperature. Remember, lower dew point temperatures mean less moisture in the air and a much drier feel to the air. When Michigan is very muggy we typically have dew point temperatures above 70 degrees. Dew points between 65 degrees and 70 degrees also feel muggy to a Michigander. Once dew points drop into the 50s we generally feel like the humidity in the afternoon is very low. Dew points in the 50s in summer bring comfortable weather.
