    New details: Buc-ee’s groundbreaking planned for August

    HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio ( WDTN ) — New details have emerged about the upcoming Buc-ee’s location in Huber Heights.

    On Aug. 8 at 4 p.m., Buc-ee’s will break ground at its first location in the state of Ohio at 8000 OH-235. Jeff Gore, mayor of Huber Heights, along with other local and state leaders are expected to be in attendance.

    “Huber Heights is the perfect spot for our first Ohio store,” said Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s. “It’s a beautiful stretch of I-70 between Columbus and Indianapolis and we are excited to be a part of this community.”

    Upon construction of the newest location, a minimum of 200 full-time jobs will be created. Customers will have the chance to try Beaver nuggets, Texas barbeque, fudge and more. Drivers will have the opportunity to refuel at any of the 100 fueling pumps or 24 EV charging stations.

    The current nearest Buc-ee’s location is located just off I-75 in Richmond, Kentucky.
