Hudson County Commissioners Celebrate Prep High School Graduate Alexandra Valde for Academic Excellence
JERSEY CITY, NJ- Alexandra Valde, a Jersey City resident, and a graduate of County Prep High School, was honored by the Hudson County Board of Commissioners for her academic achievements. Valde has been awarded the 2024 NJAC Foundation and the SHI International Scholarship Award for Hudson County. Her solid academic background and deep interest in technology makes her incredibly qualified for these scholarships, a resolution said.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER She had a 3.8 grade point average and excelled in challenging classes from calculus to AP English language and composition. According to the resolution honoring her, she has demonstrated unwavering commitment to her studies. “Her passion for information technology is a dynamic fusion of inventiveness, problem-solving and curiosity,” the resolution said. “She firmly believes that every problem within the major is a riddle which can be continuously solved and improved, feeding the need for lifelong development. This passion drives her to pursue a variety of academic interests. Valde plans on pursuing her academic career in information technology this fall at New Jersey Institute of Technology.
