Rainbow awarded $653,256 from the State of Kansas for BAG 4 Grant to Connect 99 Homes in Rural Troy and Wathena
Everest, Kansas, July 19, 2024 -- Rainbow is proud to announce they have been awarded $653,526 from the State of Kansas as part of their Broadband Acceleration Grant (BAG) fund. Rainbow was one of the 12 Internet service providers to be awarded funds from this $10 million round of BAG grants.
Taking applications for opening seat on Barton CC Board of Trustees
At the end of June, Don Learned publicly announced his resignation from the Barton Community College Board of Trustees due to moving to Texas later this summer. At Monday’s board meeting, Chairman Mike Johnson said the college is still accepting applications to fill Learned’s remaining term which ends Dec. 31, 2025.
