Safety vehicles, plow, hot air balloon featured at Hudson's Touch-A-Truck

This year's Touch-A-Truck in Hudson is Saturday, July 27, between the McDowell and East Woods Schools on 120 N. Hayden Parkway.

Horns and sirens will be active from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a sensory-friendly quiet hour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Also, new this year, the Summit County Department of Disabilities and Inclusioneers will have a mobile sensory bus on site equipped with a variety of tools to reduce overstimulation in young attendees.

Families are encouraged to explore the public vehicles seen around the city, county, and community. Those attending can climb in and out of trucks, view the inside of a SWAT vehicle, and ride in a hot air balloon. Food trucks also will be on site.

There will be on-site parking available for attendees within a close proximity to the event. Use 120 N. Hayden Parkway to navigate to parking areas.

On-site restrooms will be available for public use throughout the event.
