    Yes, you read that right.

Freewater, is pioneering a new business model -- giving away natural spring water to consumers, for free, bringing new meaning to the word sustainability. If you're confused by this appearing conundrum, you're not alone. During a promotional video for Freewater, on their YouTube channel, a particularly skeptical passerby asked all the hard-hitting questions you may be asking yourself right now:

    • Who pays for the water?
    • Where does it come from?
    • And, how does anyone make any money?

In Short, the Austin-based company sells advertising to be displayed on each of their fully recyclable bottles. For each bottle "sold", ten cents is given to charity to help build water wells. And, as for how the beverage makes money... well, the advertisers pay for it. In exchange for providing free water to the public, advertisers can their logo put on the bottle -- attaching themselves to a great cause.

    It's the definition of a win-win.

And, if Freewater can continue making waves in the bottled water space, it could be the start of something really special.

To quote the unknown passerby (seen in the image above):

"I still call bullish*t, but if it is real, and it really does work, that's amazing."
