Andrew Tate Was Released From Prison the Same Day as the $467 Million Sci-Fi Classic, The Matrix, Ushering Speculation

Since exploding onto the home screens of millions of social media users in late 2022, Andrew Tate has become known as "The King of Toxic Masculinity" for his brash opinions on gender roles.

As a get-rich-quick-preneur, Andrew's business revolves around the idea of escaping the conventional 9-5 working models -- something he deems "escaping the Matrix". The phrase perfectly embodies what many people are calling the red-pill peddling duo that is Andrew, 34, and his brother/business partner, Tristan, 36.

So much so, that "Escape the Matrix" can be seen written in Andrew's Twitter bio, pointing to his Hustler's University course in which he sells "18 modern wealth creation methods".

The phrase is in reference to the 1999 science-fiction movie, The Matrix, in which Earth is revealed to be nothing more than a simulation used to harvest human energy. A classic hit, grossing over $467 million on a $63 million budget.

And now, following a 3-month stint in a Romanian jail, Andrew and the movie are now more closely linked than ever before. Andrew and his brother Tristan were released from jail following an ongoing investigation into alleged human trafficking on March 31st, 2023 -- the same day The Matrix was first released in theatres.

Today, Andrew and Tristan reside in their Bucharest home under house arrest, although the duo deny and have not yet been charged with any wrongdoing. Although Andrew and Tristan's release date is likely all but a rare coincidence, many have begun speculating if it is in fact a blip in the Matrix.
