Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” Is So Much More Successful Than You Think

Rhonda Byrne's best-selling book, "The Secret", has become widely known as a modern manifestation bible -- but most people don't know the extent of its success.

Originally written as a script for a documentary by the same name, The Secret was first published in 2006. Loosely based on Wallace Wattle's 1910 book, The Science of Getting Rich, Rhonda's self-help book teaches the pseudo-science of manifestation -- what she characterizes as the law of attraction.

In it, Rhonda outlines a simple method for calling into existence one's wildest dreams, through a 3-step process:

"Ask, believe, receive."

It has since become a staple in the self-help industry, with figures such as UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, citing it as the manual he used to manifest his dream life. He's been quoted numerous times saying that The Secret changed his life and outlines how he honed the ability to manifest his future, in an interview with the New York Post:

“We would be driving to the shop and visualizing the exact car park space. And then we’d be able to get it every time."

Shortly after the release of the book, Rhonda appeared on The Opera Winfrey Show, catapulting it into mainstream success, with 30 million copies sold to date. For reference, this lands it in rarified air, amongst some of the best-selling self-help books of all time:

Rhonda has since gone on to write a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th book proceeding The Secret called The Power, The Magic, and Hero, all going on to become best-sellers in their own right. And, solidifying Rhonda as one of the most successful authors in history.

Today, the Australian-born writer is estimated to be worth $100 million. And, regardless of your opinion on manifestation, Rhonda's success acts as an undoubtedly great testimonial for the power of her teachings.
