Jake Paul Offers Nate Diaz $10 Million for an MMA Fight Post Boxing Match. Nate Responds in True Diaz Fashion.

On August 5th, 2023, internet superstar, Jake Paul, and MMA icon, Nate Diaz, will compete in a 10-round professional boxing match.

But, Jake recently revealed he would be up for an MMA match as well.

In a recent Tweet, Jake said,

"For all the clowns saying “why don’t you fight Nate Diaz in the cage.” I made that offer to him from the start. $10M to fight me in PFL after we box on August 5th. Offer is still there Nathan."

Jake's boxing career has always been littered with scrutiny for his choices of opponents and brash attitude which have not always been backed by his performances -- most recently, taking his first professional boxing loss to rival, Tommy Fury.

But, late last year, Jake earned a smidgen of respect from fans and fellow fighters alike when he signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), announcing his intentions to transition in MMA after his boxing career.

The 26-year-old, Ohio-born, Jake, is currently a 3:1 favourite against the 38-year-old Stockton-born Nate Diaz (making his boxing debut). But, in an MMA match, Diaz would likely be an equal favourite -- if not much greater.

Both Nate and his brother, Nick Diaz, have become legends in the sport of MMA, for their anti-authority image, coupled with highly entertaining fighting styles. And, despite not appearing overly clever or quick-witted, Nate has become one of the best trash talkers in the fight game -- as well as negotiators.

Nate has since responded to Jake's callout, in true Diaz fashion:

“It’s going to cost more than that.”
