“ Replaced our basement Frigidaire dehumidifier which has been working flawlessly for many (many) years. Read reviews, but mostly chose this unit based on how well the last Frigidaire worked. First off ― it’s working great: quiet, more water removed than we expected, simple to plug-in-and-it-was-on, simple to empty. HOWEVER ... the booklet explains the multiple settings, and (just like our new printer) the actual tiny screen is not intuitive at all. We actually had to have the booklet in front of us to set timing/humidity level/etc etc etc and we are gonna need to have the booklet in front of us for any resets. “ There are five of us and three of us live downstairs in the refurbished basement. There was so much moisture down there that mold was forming on the cement cold spots. NO MORE! We bought the dehumidifier and let it run for three days according to the instructions. After 12 hours the tank was full, we emptied it and let it run for another 24 hours; it was full again.
