    Pro Wrestling Legend Sid 'Vicious' Eudy Dies At 63

    Professional wrestler Sid Eudy, also known by the monikers Sid Vicious, Sycho Sid and Sid Justice, has died, according to multiple reports . He was 63.

    On Monday, Eudy’s son, Gunnar Eudy, confirmed his death in a Facebook post .

    “I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years,” he wrote. “He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.”

    “We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss,” he added. “Details for a memorial service will be shared soon. Thank you for your support.”

    World Wrestling Entertainment posted a tribute to the star on its website on Monday.

    “Known as ‘The Master and Ruler of the World’, Sid’s reputation as one of the toughest and most thrilling Superstars cemented his legacy in WWE, and his influence can still be seen in wrestling rings around the world,” the tribute read. “WWE extends its condolences to Eudy’s family, friends and fans.”

    Social media users on X, formerly called Twitter, mourned Eudy’s death online, including fellow WWE stars Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.

    Eudy, a six-time world champion wrestler, kicked off his wrestling career back in 1987 under the moniker Lord Humongous. He later joined World Championship Wrestling in 1989 before debuting as Sid Justice in the WWE two years later.

    Throughout his career, he scored numerous accolades, including two WWE Championships, two WCW World Heavyweight Championships (and one WCW United States Heavyweight Championship) and two United States Wrestling Association Unified World Heavyweight Championships.
